Energy, sleep and hormones

most of it
is measurable.

Low energy, poor sleep and weight that will not move usually have measurable causes. We measure them first, then decide together what is worth doing.

01

what your doctor is reading

Three things that shape the picture, and what each one changes about how you are assessed.

  • 01

    sleep

Short or broken sleep can affect the hormones that govern appetite, and it is one of the most commonly missed causes of weight that will not move.

It is why Monday's check-in asks how you slept, not only what you weigh.

  • 02

    energy

Persistent low energy has a long list of possible causes, several of them measurable and several of them unrelated to weight.

It is why the assessment looks for causes rather than treating the symptom you arrived with.

  • 03

    weight that will not move

Weight held for years despite real effort is usually telling you something about how the body is working, not about how hard you tried.

It is why a doctor takes your full history before deciding whether medicine is appropriate at all.

02

what the published figures show

Population data for Malaysia, and one of the studies behind the sleep question in your weekly check-in. Every number here carries its source.

  • 54.4%

of Malaysian adults were overweight or obese in 2023, up from 44.5% in 2011. This is the ordinary case, not the exception. [1]

  • 54.5%

had abdominal obesity in 2023, measured at a waist of 90 cm or more in men and 80 cm or more in women, up from 45.4% in 2011. [1]

  • lower leptin,

higher ghrelin and a higher BMI were found in people sleeping short hours, in a study of 1,024 adults. Those are the two hormones that tell you when to eat and when to stop. [2]

03

testosterone, and what we are still finishing

We recognise that testosterone becomes an issue for many men as they age. We are finalising our certification and our supply chain before we offer it.

Testosterone and TRT need their own assessment and their own monitoring. We will say so here when both are in place.

04

the same doctors, the same programme

This is a way in, not a separate service. What is behind it is the doctor-led programme, assessed the same way and carried on in the same thread.

  • 01

    one assessment

The same questions, read by the same licensed Malaysian doctors, whichever door you came through.

  • 02

    one price list

The same published prices, whichever door you came through. Consultation, medicine by dose, and the care programme, each shown in full.

  • 03

    one thread

Weekly check-ins and questions answered between appointments, on WhatsApp.

measure first, decide after.

The assessment takes a few minutes, a doctor reads every answer, and nothing is prescribed on the strength of it alone.

A doctor decides whether the programme is appropriate for you.
